Out of all the rooms, the kitchen is perhaps the most complex. And that happens due to its multiple responsibilities: offering an excellent experience for the cook and being an ideal space for several people to socialize. The Lignum et Lapis collection of Arclinea kitchen understands this issue perfectly.

As with most of the brand's productions, the day-to-day use experience is as important as the well-finished design of each piece. In addition, there is immense care in using materials of excellent quality, whether being wood, stone or steel.

The Lignum et Lapis project has space for the cook and his utensils, as well as a segment where guests can even help preparing the dishes. However, these are just some of the features of Lignum et Lapis, a representation of Arclinea's excellence.

Arclinea kitchen: discover the “Lignum et Lapis” collection

The project is mainly composed of materials such as stone, stainless steel and wood. Most of the items that make up the collection were carefully designed to be industrial sculptures, based on their stoned structures.

The main island of Lignum et Lapis deserves a special mention. In it, guests can even help prepare food, thanks to the great space at one end of the island. Utensils and equipment are in the opposite direction, as is the head cook. Thus, there is room for everyone in the living area.

The sink in this Arclinea kitchen is behind a system of doors that open horizontally. Yes, a model where it is possible to “hide” this part of the room. Even so, the sink remains integrated into the environment, with its own lighting and a comfortable space to operate with peace of mind.

Arclinea’s quality

Arclinea seeks answers to several dilemmas, among them: how to combine coexistence, gastronomy and the use of high-performance technologies, in a single room? To achieve that, the brand needed to combine technique and practice, working on a new kitchen concept.

This was possible thanks to the genius of a recognized and respected designer: Antonio Citterio. He was responsible for bringing a new concept, reproducing not only excellent equipment, but also creating the perfect mix of gastronomy and conviviality.

Inspired by the machinery of professional kitchens, Citterio has designed a completely innovative space, using steel resistant to water and fire and deeper worktops, something excellent for facilitating the organization and preparation of food. Thus, the “Italia” collection was born in 1988.

Both Acrilinea kitchen collections are virtuous answers to the dilemma exposed previously. They optimized the cook's work, without forgetting that the kitchen is the heart of the house: everything happens there, often where we start and end the day.
