The lucidity of expression and the pursuit of simplicity are the fundamental principles in the work of Christophe Pillet, where elegance is optimized. Pillet’s perfect command of sensuality and refinement has made him one of the rare French designers to gain worldwide recognition for hotels, boutiques, and artistic projects in the USA, Great Britain, and Japan.
He graduated from the École des Arts Décoratifs in Nice in 1985 and earned a Master’s degree from the Domus Academy in Milan in 1986. He has maintained his own office since 1993. Multifaceted, the designer works in several areas of art, whether as a furniture designer, interior designer, architect, scenographer, or artistic director.
He has won international awards for the breadth and quality of his creations, including the Good Design Awards, Wallpaper Design, Red Dot Awards, Designer of the Year at the Paris Fair, and many others.
His signature is invariably associated with the best brands: Lacoste, EMU, Porro, Serralunga, Veuve Clicquot, Jean-Claude Jitrois, Catherine Malandrino, Renault, and many others.
