Born in 1956, Piero Lissoni graduated in architecture from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1985. In 1986, he co-founded the Lissoni Associati studio with Nicoletta Canesi, followed by Graph.x in 1996 for graphic design development.
Today, his firm employs a multidisciplinary team of 70, covering architecture, industrial design, furniture, lighting, and corporate identity, as well as yacht design and showrooms.
His prestigious architectural achievements include the Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam (2012), the Hotel Mamilla in Jerusalem, and the restoration of the Hotel Monaco & Grand Canal in Venice. Lissoni also renovated Milan’s historic Teatro Nazionale and the Living Divani headquarters.
His work as a designer has earned him numerous accolades, including the Good Design Award, Red Dot, and two Compasso d’Oro nominations. Lissoni collaborates with industry giants such as B&B Italia, Fritz Hansen, Knoll, Living Divani, Porro, and Kartell.
